a review of planet earth from a man who lost it all

the original essay from 14/09/26 (just a few days ago as the time i’m writing this.) - inspired by the song “It’s Better People” by Oasis.

The experiment went successfully, and I am left stranded in this parallel reality. The earthlings of this planet appear to be mesmerized by the lights of the moon in their minds, so tempted to lose their time. From dreamers to workers, voyaging in no man’s land. I can’t stop thinking, “I wish I could have it all back. " They fight as if they were infinite, provoked by the wrath of their past. Oh men, please listen; the time to bicker must pass.

One particularly fascinating aspect of this reality is how their wide landscapes remain. From colors to eyes, pristine marmalade skies, they remind of the gardener’s gaze. Their oceans and trees filled with laughter, and shared memories, oh, it’s an endless melody. While they lack unity, not all hope is lost; they can still salvage their lands. To help them, I must.

This planet is different from all the others I’ve visited. If I could speak to the entirety of the population, this is what I would tell them. “Oh humans from this parallel world. It’s better people speak to each other; your shame is not enough. If everybody came alive and stayed alive and lived their lives instead. So come outside and feel the light; together we can work it out and at last make it right. Protect what you can, for good earth is rich for all. Do so, please, or all will be lost.

I must return to the graveyards of my unnatural, forgotten world. My people and I will inherit this version of reality; the time for humans here has passed.
